Two of our club members (Tom Pippin and Jon Cummins) are official Coast Guard Auxiliary members. They are available to perform vessel safety checks as part of their volunteer work. 

The Coast Guard also considers kayaks and SUPs as vessels. With your vessel check you will receive paddle tip reflectors, a safety checklist, a paddle craft ID sticker and a fabulous Coast Guard whistle for your paddling safety.
